While we value and encourage intergenerational community, we also recognize that one size does not necessarily fit all. This is why we are committed to building a growing variety of ‘generational’ ministries, from college to young adult, and singles to sages. These ministry efforts are geared to those who would benefit by engaging with others who share their particular life stage while they grow with God and each other.
The best place to begin at any age is by getting involved in a LifeGroup… this is because life change happens best in small groups!

OUR VISION is to see Gunnison youth come to known and grow is Christ so that by the fruit of their lives they would MAKE HIM KNOW.
We serve students from 6th – 12th grade throughout the Gunnison Valley by providing weekly activities, Bible studies, life groups, and overall discipleship opportunities.
IN STUMiN | At Community Church student ministry is a place where young people’s attention is channeled to who Jesus is and how, by God’s grace, they are called for eternally significant purposes. By exposing, explaining and engaging students with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Our desire is to see them saved and changed from merely knowing about Him to knowing Him, and making Him known.

At Community Church we are committed to be a full-service ministry, and this includes a high-priority commitment to investing in the next generation of Christ followers. While we embrace a conviction that Dads and Moms are the first line of responsibility in the spiritual instruction of children, we are passionate about coming alongside parents to aid them in the cultivation of faith in their children! At Community Church, your kids will find numerous fun, exciting and challenging ways to be involved…
SUNDAY MORNING JAM (Jesus And Me)
JAM represents age-graded ministry on Sunday mornings from nursery through 6th Grade. JAM provides age-appropriate spiritual instruction aimed at communicating God’s love for each child; exposing them to gospel basics through the rich and varied stories of the Bible. Our Children’s Ministry places a high value on providing a safe and secure environment in which children can learn and grow. We have a volunteer team committed to the task of caring for kids and addressing the specific challenges of each age group with a child-volunteer ratio that enables us to care for each individual child. Every volunteer who serves completes a thorough background check and is directly supervised by our Children’s Ministry Director.
